A Vision for Tomorrow

A Principled Conservative for Jefferson County

I am proud to support many of the policy goals advanced during the Trump administration — particularly those that focus on economic growth, secure borders, energy independence, and restoring accountability in government.

At the same time, I believe strongly that leadership requires discipline, respect, and unwavering adherence to the Constitution and the rule of law. I do not support personal attacks, political retaliation, or actions that undermine our legal system. Jefferson County deserves firm leadership — not fiery rhetoric.
Where I Stand

1. Pro-Growth Economic Policy
I support policies that:

  • Lower taxes on working families and small businesses

  • Reduce burdensome regulations that stifle local job creators

  • Encourage American manufacturing and energy production

My goal locally is simple: make Jefferson County a place where businesses can thrive and families can keep more of what they earn.

2. Law, Order, and Public Safety — Within the Law
I support strong border enforcement at the federal level and strong public safety at the local level.
That means:

  • Backing law enforcement

  • Enforcing laws consistently

  • Protecting due process and constitutional rights

Public safety must never come at the expense of civil liberties. We can be firm and fair at the same time.

3. Government Accountability
One of the most important themes of the Trump movement has been challenging bureaucratic waste and inefficiency. I support:

  • Transparent budgeting

  • Fiscal responsibility

  • Eliminating unnecessary government programs

  • Ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent wisely

Locally, that means oversight, audits when necessary, and open communication with citizens.

4. Parental Rights & Local Control
I believe families, not federal agencies, should be primary decision-makers in their children’s lives.
At the same time, public discourse must remain respectful and rooted in facts — not fear.

5. Respect for the Constitution and the Courts
Conservative leadership must always respect:

  • Separation of powers

  • Court rulings

  • Lawful processes

If a policy is struck down by the courts, the answer is to refine it through legal channels — not attack institutions or individuals.

My Leadership Style
I believe in:

  • Civility over insults

  • Debate over division

  • Strength without cruelty

  • Conviction without chaos

I will work to benefit Jefferson County families. Supporting conservative policies does not require adopting anger or personal attacks. Our community deserves better than that.

My Record & Background
Throughout my prior positions, I have consistently:

  • Focused on practical solutions rather than partisan fights

  • Protected taxpayer dollars

  • Advocated for accountability and transparency

  • Built relationships

My approach has always been steady, constitutional, and community-centered.

The Bottom Line
I support the policy direction of:

  • Economic growth

  • Secure communities

  • Government accountability

  • American energy independence

  • Local control

But I reject:

  • Political vendettas

  • Personal insults

  • Disregard for court rulings

  • Any unlawful or unconstitutional action

    NEW SALES TAX FOR MISSOURI?
    1.

  • Taxes should be simple

  • Government should not waste money

  • Working families should not carry the biggest burden

  • Missouri families deserve a tax system that is simple, fair, and doesn’t punish people for working hard.

  • 2. Sales Taxes Are Regressive

  • A sales tax–only system tends to hit lower-income households harder.

  • Why:

  • Lower-income families spend a larger percentage of their income on necessities.

  • Wealthier households can save or invest more, which is not taxed in a sales system.

  • Replacing income taxes entirely with higher sales taxes can shift the burden onto working families, because they spend a greater share of their income on everyday purchases.

  • I call this “tax shifting” instead of just “regressive,”

  • 3. I am for responsible tax reform.

  • Simplifying the tax code

  • Lowering income tax rates responsibly

  • Cutting government waste

  • I Oppose

  • Sudden tax changes that shift costs onto working families

  • Policies that increase taxes on essentials

  • I support responsible tax reform, but we cannot replace one unfair system with another that shifts the cost onto Missouri’s working families.

  • 4. Alternative Solutions

  • Option A: Gradual income tax reduction

  • Tie reductions to economic growth.

  • Option B: Protect essentials

  • Keep sales tax exemptions on:

  • groceries

  • medicine

  • basic household goods

  • Option C: Broaden tax fairness

  • Close loopholes rather than raising taxes on necessities.

  • Real tax reform means lowering the burden while protecting families who already feel the squeeze at the grocery store and gas pump.

  • 5. Fair Tax Reform for Missouri Families

  • Simplify taxes

  • Lower rates responsibly

  • Protect working families

  • Avoid shifting the burden onto those who can least afford it

  • I support tax reform that makes Missouri more competitive, but we cannot balance the books by shifting taxes onto groceries, clothing, and everyday purchases. Our goal should be a fair system that rewards work while protecting working families.

  • Folks, everyone agrees our tax system in Missouri should be simpler and fairer. I support responsible tax reform that lowers the burden on working families and helps our economy grow. But replacing income tax entirely with a higher sales tax shifts more of the cost onto everyday purchases like clothes, school supplies, and household goods. That means working families end up paying a larger share of their income. I believe we can do better. My plan focuses on cutting waste, simplifying taxes, and lowering rates responsibly—without shifting the burden onto the people who can least afford it. Fair taxes, responsible government, and opportunity for every Missouri family.

  • 2. What Is a Regressive Tax?

  • How Sales Taxes Affect Families Differently

  • Family A – Lower Income

  • Income: $30,000

  • Spending on necessities: $27,000
Sales tax paid (8% example): $2,160

  • Tax share of income:
    7.2% of total income

  • Family B – Higher Income

  • Income: $150,000

  • 🛒 Spending on necessities: $60,000
Sales tax paid (8% example): $4,800

  • Tax share of income:
    3.2% of total income

  • Family A
    ███████ 7.2%

  • Family B
    ███ 3.2%
Lower-income families pay a larger percentage of their income in sales taxes.

  • A “regressive tax” means people with lower incomes pay a larger share of their income in taxes than wealthier households.

  • Replacing income tax with higher sales taxes can shift the tax burden toward working families.

  • Tax reform should lower burdens — not shift them onto working families.

  • Everyone likes the idea of lower taxes, and I support making our tax system simpler and more competitive. But eliminating the income tax entirely usually means dramatically raising sales taxes. That shifts more of the burden onto everyday purchases—things families can’t avoid buying. Working families spend a larger share of their income on necessities, so they end up paying a larger percentage of their income in taxes. That’s why many economists consider heavy sales-tax systems regressive. I believe in real tax reform: cutting waste, simplifying the code, and lowering rates responsibly. But we shouldn’t replace one flawed system with another that shifts the burden onto the people working the hardest to get ahead.

Jefferson County needs strong conservative leadership grounded in character and integrity. That is what I offer.
